THE COMPANY
This credible event design and build agency has been in business for over 15 years and benefits from having all creative, design, and build services in-house. Working across sectors including gaming, technology, and pharmaceuticals, they specialize in producing bespoke exhibition stands and event installations, as well as b-matrix stands of all sizes.
THE ROLE
After building a profitable business primarily through word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals, they are now looking to expand the sales function by hiring a Head of Sales. This role will lead and develop a new sales team, focusing on business revenue growth and strategy. Initially managing one direct report, responsibilities include:
- New business development and client acquisition
- Relationship management and growth strategy
- Receiving client briefs and preparing costed proposals
- Pitching to clients and converting business
- Briefing internal creative and design teams
- Negotiating contracts
- Revenue forecasting and margin analysis
- Recruitment and training of a sales team
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates should have a proven sales background, ideally with experience in the exhibition and/or tradeshow industry selling services such as stand design, production, and installation. Experience in developing new business sales within the experiential pop-up, brand installation, or retail fit-out industries will also be considered. A strong track record of achieving sales targets is essential.
