We are now seeking a Head of Live Events to head up the project delivery team.

The Role

We are now looking for a Head of Live Events to join their growing events team. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, delivery, and production of UK and international projects, whilst managing and leading a high-performance team. Key responsibilities for ensuring operational and customer excellence as well as achieving margin targets.

This role covers event and project delivery including supporting teams\\' delivery on-site for more complex live projects, and for new client wins, requiring UK and international travel as needed.

As the Head of Live Events you will get involved in:

  • Team management for direct reports
  • Responsible for the overall performance management of project team members
  • Recruitment and the on-boarding of new starters
  • Designing SLA\\'s and KPI\\'s
  • Contribute to the delivery of successful pitches and tender responses
  • Overseeing event delivery
  • Ensure all projects are fully scoped to enable accurate budget costings
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with the client services
  • Maintain and maximise margin generation
  • Provide on-site support and oversee event management both in the UK and internationally

The Candidate

Candidates should ideally be working in a similar role as a Head of Live Events form a corporate event agency, with the ability to understand and challenge technical production solutions.

You should be commercially minded and able to set and execute based on logic and pace, as well as a natural, experienced leader, well versed in motivating and empowering the team, acting as a role model, coach and mentor, particularly when inevitable challenges arise!

Most importantly we are looking for an ambitious Head of Live Events with the ability and willingness to lead on smaller project tasks in support of the team and changing deadlines.
