THE COMPANY
This boutique, award-winning Destination Management Company offers inbound event management and logistical delivery services for a vast array of blue-chip clients from over 30 global destinations including South Africa, Brazil, South Korea and the Middle East. Handling small scale projects with simple requirements such as a venue find service or a programme of restaurant bookings through to full project management of incentive projects for up to 2,000 delegates - no two days are the same in this fast-paced organisation. Located in bespoke offices within a stately home and set in beautiful grounds, this business offers a truly fantastic working environment, a flexible approach and an incredibly supportive, collaborative culture.
THE ROLE
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to expand the team with an Event Account Manager. This role will hold the following responsibilities:
- Handling client requests and preparing client proposals
- Manage and effect the research, availability and prices at hotels, restaurants and event venues
- Support marketing and product development activities
- Ensuring that briefs are responded to quickly
- Assist in maximising conversion rates and margins
- Account management with regular agency partners and clients
- Managing suppliers, contracts and Service Level Agreements
- Responsibility for the smooth and effective running of multiple project opportunities
THE CANDIDATE
We are looking for candidates with notable experience dealing with inbound enquiries and event projects, who are extremely comfortable being client facing. Experience within an event agency, venue find agency or destination management company environment would be preferable. Any knowledge of London venues and hotels would also be an advantage. This business offers a fantastic working environment and whilst it is a full-time position, they may consider candidates who are seeking reduced hours.
