Fully remote role – You will of course be conducting client visits but any commute into London for internal company meetings will be expensed.

The Company
This independent, boutique events agency pride themselves on delivering perfectly tailored, stand out experiences across the world for an enviable list of premium clients. The agency deliver large scale employee engagement events such as sales kick-offs, internal training events, and company off‑site programmes, and B2B customer/partner engagement events such as conferences, launches, and brand engagement activations. They are a one‑stop shop for creative, production and logistics!
The Role
Due to continued growth they now need an experienced Events Business Development Manager to take the sales reigns and continue to grow the sales pipeline. The agency are in a strong financial position so they are focussed on delivering meaningful work. They intend to focus on forging longstanding client connections that will produce larger, powerful brand experiences projects.
This Business Development Manager is a broad role covering strategic new business and commercial account growth including:
- Proactive networking amongst corporate events industry
- Market research, unearthing new opportunities, and lead chasing
- Producing a strategic sales plan
- Proactive sales outreach including cold calling and client meetings
- Building an understanding of existing client relationships
- Establishing repeat business opportunities
- Taking and developing a client brief
- Leading the pitching process with support from the project team
- Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers
- Holding financial forecasting and target responsibility against new and existing accounts
- Implementing strategic planning in relation to account growth
The Candidate
To be considered for this Events Business Development Manager role applicants must be a self‑starter who understands the corporate events world. Large scale projects incorporate production, delegate logistics, content and creative so experience of selling layered event services within an event agency environment would be hugely beneficial for this Events Business Development Manager role.
