THE ROLE
Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for an Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator to act as the conduit between Show Directors, Marketing teams, Operations teams, suppliers and speakers to ensure each conference runs smoothly. A broad role, responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with internal teams to clarify event briefs
- Execute speaker agreements and manage speaker requests
- Obtain, publish and edit speaker pictures, biographies and session descriptions
- Assist marketing teams with the speaker promotions campaign
- Liaise with internal and external designers to create and proof-read printed programmes and other promotional materials
- Use of our content management system (CMS) to keep online programmes up-to-date
- Manage speaker accommodation, fees and expenses in line with event budgets
- Provide accurate briefs for the operations team, AV companies, conference chairs and speakers
- Request and receive speaker slides
- Manage the speakers, AV technical team and speaker lounge onsite at events
- Organise the logistical requirements for organisations holding small special events
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have similar experience gained from working within a conference environment and have a proven background of supporting in corporate events. Candidates must be client facing and would benefit from experience in supplier management.
