The Role:
The Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator (French-speaking) sits at the operational heart of conference delivery, working across show directors, marketing, sales, operations and external partners to make sure every speaker is briefed, confirmed and looked after from first contact to the moment they walk off stage.
- Clarify event briefs with directors, marketing managers and conference managers.
- Execute speaker agreements and manage requests professionally and on time.
- Manage speaker accommodation, fees and expenses within event budgets.
- Obtain, edit and publish speaker biographies, images and session descriptions to deadline.
- Keep online programmes current via the content management system.
- Request and receive speaker slides to correct AV specifications.
- Coordinate onsite speaker logistics, AV liaison and speaker lounge management.
- Support promotional campaigns by coordinating materials with internal and external designers.
The Candidate:
The right person for this Event Speaker Liaison Coordinator (French-speaking) role is fluent in French, both spoken and written, and brings a track record of keeping complex, multi-stakeholder processes organised and on time. Exceptional attention to detail, confident communication at all levels and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, are all essential. Experience managing speaker briefs or agreements, CMS proficiency and a background coordinating event logistics onsite are all beneficial but not essential. If you come from a conference, association or media events background and are used to working across busy teams under tight deadlines, this role is well worth a look.
