The Role
Due to an increase in business and a busy forward events calendar there is now a need for an Event Proposals Manager to join their close knit team. Sitting within and working closely with their events team this is a broad role with responsibilities including:
- Creating proposals for both new business and existing clients
- Working closely with internal teams to fully understand the clients brief
- Involvement in the brainstorming for creative event concepts
- Preparation of costing proposals including negotiation with suppliers
- Researching destinations and venues for events
- Ensuring proposals are on brief, in budget, and delivered on time
- Collating bespoke event proposals into a presentable format
- Keeping updated on venue and market trends, and new innovations
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating event proposals, with a well-established knowledge of global venues and destinations. Candidates will have ideally come from a similar role or from a role in which creating proposals was an integral part of it. Strong written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and proven ability to work under tight deadlines are also essential, as is a high degree of competence on PowerPoint. Any pitching experience would also be beneficial.
