Our client, a well established and highly successful events technology business, boast a hugely impressive client base and are a real market leader in their field! After being founded over 30 years ago, they have provided the events industry with integral advances in registration technology and they are now embarking on another exciting journey of growth. With a close knit and committed team and a business built on relationships and expert delivery there has never been a better time to come on board!
THE ROLE
Due to continued growth they are now seeking a Project Manager to come on board and deliver seamless event registration services and technology solutions to their client base. A broad role responsibilities include:
- Managing the end to end delivery of registration services for multiple events
- Ensuring project deliverables and timescales across projects
- Client management including ensuring timescales are communicated effectively
- Working closely with internal teams
- Overseeing pre-event planning
- Venue and supplier management
- Travelling onsite for events (when required) to build relationships
- Post event analysis and reporting
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have strong project management skills and an events background, with solid understanding and appreciation for the fact that event deliverables cannot be moved! Knowledge of registration systems is not required but candidates must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently! Knowledge of data management, GDPR compliance and reporting tools would be an added benefit but is not essential. This role would suit someone who is not looking for the pressure of physical event delivery or going onsite but still wants to utilise their strong project management skills in an events setting! The role would also be suitable for someone with a solid grounding in the events sector with a high level of organisation!
