The Company
This independent events agency is renowned for delivering bold, high-quality production, technical support, set build and creative design services to a wide range of clients. Alongside their core production offering, they also deliver video, digital and creative design solutions to a well-established and growing client portfolio. Working with a mix of direct clients and agencies, the events they deliver are varied and dynamic – from intimate conferences to large-scale awards ceremonies for 2,000 guests, multi-location roadshows and immersive experiential events, both in the UK and internationally.
The Role
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Event Production Manager to join their expanding technical events team. This role spans the full spectrum of technical event production, supporting the wider production team to deliver seamless, high-quality events from concept through to delivery. This is a broad and hands-on role, with key responsibilities including:
- Receiving and interpreting client briefs
- Coordinating all technical aspects of event delivery
- Briefing onsite crew and freelance teams
- Budget management
- Overseeing internal job preparation
- Preparing technical plans, including CAD drawings
- Creating detailed crewing and equipment lists
- Conducting site visits
The Candidate
Candidates should ideally already be working in a similar Event Production Manager role within a technical events business or venue, with 2–3 years’ experience in the events industry and a solid foundational understanding of AV disciplines. Most importantly, we’re looking for an ambitious Event Production Manager with a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn, develop and grow within this fantastic organisation.
