THE ROLE
Due to their ongoing success, they are now looking for an Italian Speaking Event Manager to look after one of their leading cosmetic exhibitions that takes place in Italy each year. Reporting into the Event Director, you will be expected to ensure the smooth running of the event. Due to the main event taking place in an Italian speaking region, this Event Manager is required to be fluent in both verbal and written Italian.
A broad role, responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with venues
- Overseeing event operations
- Managing supplier negotiations
- Helping to create marketing materials to promote the event e.g. preparing newsletters, copywriting.
- Managing the event website e.g. uploading programmes
- Liaising with internal teams to clarify event briefs and proposals
- Following up on all exhibitor enquiries
- Organising the logistical requirements
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have similar experience gained from working within a fast-paced events environment and have a proven background of supporting across events. Candidates need to have a positive, can-do attitude and the drive to do well in a business that encourages their employee's growth and promotes from within. You must be fluent in both written and verbal Italian.
