Our client is a technical production agency, specialising in a wide array of events from festivals, touring and a whole host of corporate focused events including conferences and exhibitions. With a tight-knit team, the business shares a busy work load and they deliver exceptional technical services to their clients. From audio, to lighting and set and stage, the business has a highly talented team of engineers and technicians to help bring their clients’ vision to reality. The agency is continuing to develop their impressive reputation within the market and they are now seeking a Touring Account Manager to help them build key relationships with clients, get business over the line and ensure their clients’ needs are fully understood and translated to the wider team.

The role

As part of this ongoing success and wanting to continue to grow their client base, a Touring Account Manager is needed to support the business on the more music / touring side of the business. This will include developing relationships and helping to deliver projects across conferences, exhibitions, trade shows and more. The agency is also expanding its offering across the United States and this will also be an area which you will have involvement.

As a Touring Account Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Nurturing client relationships and understanding their requirements.
  • Advising clients on what they need and the agency’s capabilities for their events.
  • Securing business and ensuring business is won.
  • Relaying briefs and requirements back to the team to ensure engineers and technicians understand what is required.
  • Identifying potential areas for business growth.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate should have experience working closely with clients in the events space, ideally with some technical knowledge or experience working for an AV / Technical Production agency.
