The Company
Our client is an established not-for-profit membership organisation, who are industry experts in their field. While classed as a research organisation and charity, the business is run very much as a corporate entity and has over 1,000 corporate members across 40 countries. Priding themselves on offering informative and market-leading events, they have a broad events programme including trade briefings, training events, networking events and conferences for up to 2,000 people.

The Role
Due to one of their existing Managers going on maternity leave, they are looking for a replacement to join the team. This role covers every element of Delegate Management, from managing the overall guest experience, working with event platforms and being involved in the initial brief taking. This is a broad role where the Delegate Manager will be the main point of contact for delegates and understand how platforms operate.
- Knowledge and understanding of event platforms
- Making key decisions to benefit the process
- Delivering multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Working closely with in-house teams
- Liaising with suppliers and external stakeholders
- Travelling on-site for the event
- Making minor changes to the event platforms
The Candidate
Candidates should ideally be working in a similar role as a Delegate Manager, either in-house on the client side or in an events-related business. Candidates with ticketing experience could also be considered, as there are transferable skills. Knowledge of event platforms, ideally Cvent, would be ideal, but they are open to other platforms.
