Hybrid working - 3 days in office - An exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join an award-winning creative production studio delivering world‑class live entertainment structures, touring productions and large-scale public art installations across the globe. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role within a growing business, working alongside the Founder and senior leadership team to oversee the delivery of ambitious creative projects from concept through to live installation.

THE ROLE: Due to continued growth, the business is looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to become a key member of its management team. Working closely with the Founder, creative team and in‑house fabrication specialists, you'll take ownership of the planning, coordination and delivery of complex live productions, temporary structures and large‑scale installations across the UK and internationally. You'll play a crucial role in enabling the business to deliver multiple major projects simultaneously while ensuring the exceptional quality and attention to detail that the company is renowned for.

This role offers genuine variety, overseeing projects from pre‑production planning through to on-site installation, working with suppliers, venues, technical partners and internal teams to deliver innovative live experiences for festivals, touring productions and public spaces.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale live event, touring and installation projects
  • Leading on‑site builds, temporary structures and production load‑ins across the UK and internationally
  • Coordinating technical production elements including lighting, audio, video, rigging and special effects
  • Managing production budgets, costings and commercial performance
  • Planning logistics, staffing, freight schedules and equipment requirements across multiple concurrent projects
  • Producing production schedules, risk assessments, method statements and health & safety documentation
  • Building strong relationships with clients, venues, suppliers and technical partners
  • Working closely with internal creative and fabrication teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Driving continuous improvements to operational processes, workflows and project delivery systems
  • Leading teams on‑site while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering complex live event productions, staging projects or large‑scale temporary structures within the events, touring or festival industries. Candidates should possess:

  • Significant experience delivering large‑scale live events, festivals, touring productions or staging projects
  • Strong knowledge of temporary structures, rigging, truss and production systems
  • Excellent understanding of lighting, audio, video and technical production
  • Proven experience managing production budgets, logistics and supplier relationships
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience producing production documentation including RAMS and project schedules
  • Excellent commercial awareness and organisational skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions in demanding environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within the UK and internationally
  • Experience working with Layher systems, cranes, forklifts, telehandlers or IPAF equipment would be highly advantageous, as would a background in festival production, touring or large venue environments.
