The Role: The Event 3D Technical Designer sits at the heart of a busy European show season, taking full ownership of exhibition stand projects for a client base that keeps coming back, and running each brief independently from concept through to on-site delivery.
- Produce 3D technical designs for large-scale exhibition stands
- Own projects independently from initial brief to final delivery
- Develop concepts and technical drawings using 3D design software
- Liaise with project management and production teams throughout
- Travel to European shows to support and oversee stand delivery
- Manage multiple projects across a busy seasonal show calendar
The Candidate: The right Event 3D Technical Designer has solid hands-on experience in exhibition stand or event design, and is confident working in 3D design software to a technical standard. You have run projects with real accountability, not just contributed to them, and you are comfortable taking a brief from start to finish without being managed at every step. A background in adjacent disciplines such as interior, retail or experiential design is worth mentioning, and experience with European show environments would be a bonus.
