The Role
The Event Production Manager owns technical design and delivery across video, lighting, audio, staging and scenic for a global event portfolio, working closely with in-house production and creative teams from initial planning through to post-event reconciliation.
- Lead technical planning, design and practical delivery across the full event portfolio
- Produce schedules, kit lists, risk assessments, technical specs and CAD plans
- Source and contract third-party suppliers, negotiating quotations for best value
- Manage onsite technical production and troubleshoot during live events
- Oversee budget drafting and post-event reconciliation for each project
- Collate and sign off third-party risk assessments and H&S documentation
- Deputise for senior production staff when required
The Candidate
The right Event Production Manager for this role is a technically grounded production professional who has planned and delivered events across video, lighting, audio, staging and scenic, and can move confidently from design and scheduling through to onsite problem-solving. You know your way around supplier negotiations, risk assessments and H&S compliance, and have done this across corporate formats such as conferences, incentives or gala dinners.
Backgrounds from agency, production house or venue-side production are all relevant here. What matters is solid hands-on technical delivery experience and the organisational discipline to keep complex schedules on track.
