Ad hoc working from home. Six performance spaces, live music alongside film and performance art, all running at once for large-scale audiences. This is the Head of Event Production, Live Venue at a central London venue where the operation is yours to build from the ground up.
- Shape operations from the ground up at a venue launching October 2026
- Central London creative hub, offices inside the venue site
- Tight-knit permanent team with genuine influence at senior level
- Genuinely non-corporate environment built around creative ambition
- Flexible engagement: permanent, contract or freelance considered
The Company: This is an independent, experimental entertainment venue opening in central London, programming live music, film, performance art and installations across six spaces simultaneously for large-scale audiences. No advance promotion, no predictable format, a deliberately ambitious approach to live programming. The founding vision is unconventional and the culture reflects that: a small permanent core team, a large operational crew on event nights, and an environment where creative ideas take clear priority.
The Role: The Head of Event Production, Live Venue is responsible for building and running all production operations across the venue from launch, coordinating simultaneous programming across six spaces and additional rooms ensuring feasibility and delivery of creative concepts from the wider team.
- Own all production planning and operational delivery across the multi-space venue
- Coordinate simultaneous live programming across six performance spaces and additional rooms
- Manage contractor relationships, technical suppliers and production budgets
- Develop production processes, schedules and operational frameworks ahead of launch
- Work closely with the creative and programming teams to realise complex, non-standard formats
The Candidate: Candidates who will thrive as Head of Event Production, Live Venue have led large-scale venue production at a senior level, with a track record of managing complex, simultaneous live programming across multiple spaces. Experience across live music, festivals or live performance is essential, and so is the confidence to build operational infrastructure from scratch rather than inherit a finished machine. Immersive or experimental events experience is beneficial but not essential. More important is an appetite for an environment where the brief changes, the programming is unconventional and staying calm and decisive under pressure is what makes the difference.
In return, the Head of Event Production, Live Venue comes with a senior package discussed on application, genuine influence over how a major new venue operates from day one, and a working environment that takes creative ambition seriously.
