The Role
The Creative Event Project Manager takes full ownership of projects from signed brief through to delivery, managing budgets, timelines, suppliers and client relationships independently or at the head of a small production team.
- Interpret client briefs and translate them into clear production plans
- Build and manage budgets, maintaining financial tracking throughout
- Create detailed timelines, schedules and critical-path documents
- Lead and coordinate internal production teams and external suppliers
- Manage client relationships and expectations across the project lifecycle
- Brief and oversee AV, production and logistics suppliers
- Run production meetings and create onsite documentation
- Ensure all projects comply with health and safety requirements
The Candidate
The right Creative Event Project Manager will have a solid agency-side background in event or experience production, with a track record of taking briefs from planning through to live delivery, managing budgets, building critical paths and keeping both clients and suppliers aligned under pressure.
Candidates coming from a Producer, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Account Manager background are all worth applying. Adjacent experience in conferences, exhibitions, festivals or theatre production is equally relevant.
