The Company
This is a defence simulation and gaming business trusted by military and government clients, including the Ministry of Defence, across air, sea, cyber and land domains. The team delivers training, education and scenario analysis to allied nations worldwide. There is no rigid one-person-one-job structure here, and the culture reflects that, with the Events & Marketing Coordinator / Manager sitting at the centre of a genuinely collaborative sales and marketing function.
The Role
The Events & Marketing Coordinator / Manager will take full ownership of the company's event programme, planning and delivering everything from small international demonstration events through to a growing annual client user conference, with real scope to grow a team around the role.
- Plan and deliver all logistics for UK and international defence exhibitions and conferences
- Own the annual client user event, managing all coordination from invitations to on-site delivery
- Manage event staffing, travel, access permissions and supplier relationships
- Coordinate marketing materials, booth graphics and physical event assets
- Handle social media content around event attendance and company activity
- Support the sales and marketing teams with new marketing material development
- Assist with client-facing activities including demonstrations and presentations
The Candidate
You will have a solid background in event coordination and logistics, with experience managing complex, multi-moving-part events, ideally with an international dimension. The Events & Marketing Coordinator / Manager who thrives here will be highly organised, comfortable working independently and confident engaging with senior clients from global organisations.
A full UK driving licence and valid passport are required, along with a willingness to travel internationally and obtain relevant security clearances. The role would suit someone with a strong events coordination / management background, ideally with experience managing complex, multi-moving-part events and an international element. Coming from a defence, wargaming, gaming or digital/software experience would be beneficial.
