Team Overview

You will be part of a cross-functional platform team responsible for infrastructure, platform, and database services for the Sports ticketing products in international markets. Your role involves collaborating with product and software engineering teams to align on business objectives for the international Sports product suite.

Role Responsibilities

1. Support and maintain hybrid Windows and Linux infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance.
2. Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new features and platform components, enhancing deployment pipelines.
3. Automate tasks, deployments, and testing workflows using infrastructure-as-code and scripting tools.
4. Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant systems meeting scalability and performance needs.
5. Communicate project progress and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
6. Improve system architecture, security, and operational processes to meet PCI standards.
7. Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the technology stack.
8. Carry out infrastructure audits, identify gaps, and prioritize improvements.

Technical Skills Needed

• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, including infrastructure provisioning and native services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Octopus Deploy.
• Support for Windows and Linux server configurations and administration.
• Experience with Active Directory and cloud integration.
• Understanding of network storage technologies like NetApp and Amazon S3.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and XEN.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of secrets management and service discovery tools like Vault and Consul.
• Ability to work with RESTful APIs for automation and platform extension.
