Senior Programme Manager – UK based, with 20% travel. Division: Live Nation. Line Manager: SVP Global Tech Ops. Contract Terms: Full time – Permanent, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver IT infrastructure technology programmes, coordinating activities across multiple related projects that span technology and operational teams.
  • Assist the SVP Global Tech Ops with onboarding newly acquired companies, working with global tech teams, local IT teams, and outsourced partners to integrate them into LNE corporate processes and systems in a compliant manner.
  • Conduct risk assessments of previously acquired companies’ IT integrations, documenting risks and remediation steps to achieve compliance with the corporate network and systems.
  • Ensure programmes are managed and executed within specified timeframes, budgets, quality and benefit targets using defined PMO project management methodologies.
  • Provide M&A IT executive project reporting to the SVP IT and business leaders. Prepare presentations for businesses, business case submissions, and key business meetings.
  • Identify, log, track and resolve project management principles such as risk, issue, dependency, decision, change, resource and capacity management, and leverage these to improve control and visibility.
  • Analyse and provide regular status reports that objectively reflect the true state of progress.
  • Coordinate activities to promote workflow and manage escalations to sponsors and executives when needed.
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle, facilitating the team’s transition from phase to phase.
  • Champion and maintain project management best practices, ensuring new team members understand the value of these processes and principles.
  • Travel to LNE global offices as required to support teams, maintain relationships and coordinate launch activities.
  • Provide advice and guidance to new or junior team members and support colleagues and managers.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within the programme management discipline, managing complex programmes and delivering solutions.
  • Qualified in a recognized Project Management methodology (e.g., Prince2, PMI).
  • Extremely competent in using Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and other forecasting and estimation tools.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills tailored to different stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in risk, issue, dependency, decision, change, resource and capacity management.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks, and ability to critically analyse and adapt best practices.
  • Familiarity with M&A IT integration processes and corporate system compliance.
  • Strong facilitation skills to conduct workshops, meetings, and steering groups.
