Role Description Cuffe & Taylor is one of the UK’s leading live music, theatre and entertainment promoters, delivering major concerts, festivals and tours across the UK and internationally.

The Event Manager will be a key member of the Operations team, supporting the planning and delivery of festivals, concerts and tours.

The role covers all aspects of event management, including operational planning, procurement, supplier and stakeholder management and budget control, while working closely with Finance, Marketing, Ticketing, Promoting and Production teams.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills who can manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced live events environment.

Previous experience within event management, project management, event coordination or production coordination would be advantageous, particularly within live music, festivals, touring or large‑scale outdoor events.

Flexibility and a willingness to travel and work on site, including evenings and weekends during event periods, will be essential.

  • What the role includes
  • Lead the planning, delivery and operational management of festivals, concerts and live events from initial planning through to on‑site delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Senior Event Manager and Director of Operations, providing progress updates through weekly meetings and other appropriate channels.
  • Manage event and festival budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking and cost control throughout the planning and delivery process.
  • Procure, contract and manage event suppliers across a wide range of infrastructure and services, including stages, temporary structures, marquees, cabins, fencing, trackway, power, toilets, showers, catering, accommodation, Wi‑Fi, CCTV and signage.
  • Procure, contract and oversee key operational services, including site management, health and safety, waste management, artist liaison, production management, traffic management, security and medical provision.
  • Support the preparation and development of site plans, operational specifications, event management plans and health and safety documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with statutory and non‑statutory agencies, including police, fire and ambulance services, landowners, Environmental Health, Licensing, Building Control, Emergency Planning, Planning and Highways.
  • Attend Safety Advisory Group (SAG) and agency meetings as required, providing regular updates throughout the planning process.
  • Manage local resident communications and engagement, including resident information and ticketing schemes.
  • Champion sustainability best practice across events in line with Green Nation initiatives and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Promoting team to maintain accurate budgets and ensure artist and promoter requirements are understood and delivered.
  • Oversee the technical and hospitality advancing of shows.
  • Work with the Ticketing team throughout the full ticketing process, from initial event set‑up through to on‑site delivery.
  • Work with the Finance team to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date budgets and oversee the approval and submission of supplier invoices.
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure all customer‑facing event information, website content, FAQs and event maps are accurate, consistent and kept up to date, providing operational guidance and advice on responses to customer enquiries where required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Administrator on their allocated shows, providing operational guidance and support throughout the planning and delivery process.
  • Liaise with sponsors, sponsorship teams, bars, traders and other commercial partners, including boutique camping providers, ensuring operational requirements are negotiated, booked and successfully delivered.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as required.
