Roc Nation Sports International is looking for someone with a strong knowledge of the international sports landscape - with a particular interest in professional football and rugby. The ideal candidate will be a daily point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders. They will need an ‘entrepreneurial-like’ desire to help drive forward the business’s key goals and objectives.

This role will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer of RNSI and lead on overarching client strategy, internal digital strategy and execution of organic and commercial obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adopt talent tone to manage social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.) with particular emphasis on growth through effective fan engagement, personality and strategic narrative.
  • Real-time coverage of clients' events and matches, working around the sporting calendar to post in real-time to RNSI and client-owned social media channels.
  • Delivering Results for RNSI’s Consulting Partners: Working closely with sports clubs and organisations to achieve their objectives through the development of social media and digital led strategies.
  • Take the lead on achieving all strategic objectives for talents' channels.
  • Work with the in-house content team to develop ideas that engage and support positive growth of talent social media profile, in line with brand strategy.
  • Demonstrate social media successes via talent channel management to support further agency recruitment, in the way of case studies.
  • Manage monthly reporting for client reference, outlining analytics and successes, working closely with the Digital team on suggestions for areas of growth.
  • Manage posting of brand assets when it relates to talent commercial commitments, demonstrating professional service.
  • Manage external talent Community Managers on asset posting when it relates to commercial partnerships secured by RNSI.
  • Develop and manage a strategic calendar that outlines talents' key moments of activity for social media amplification, working closely with the creative team on producing relevant assets.
  • Research and monitor activity of competitors and engage in industry conversation to identify best practices.
  • Identify and develop relationships with key partners to unlock opportunities and additional support for RNSI and our clients.
  • Lead on social media strategic approach to agency philanthropic projects, guaranteeing RN creative teams have all required assets.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a sports digital or social media role.
  • Strong knowledge of professional football and rugby.
  • In-depth understanding of social media platforms, content creation, industry trends and new technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Great problem-solving skills and a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Demonstrable success in growing social media channels.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, in-person and digitally.
  • Strong experience in working with high-profile talent.
