Role Description

VIP Nation is a department of Live Nation which provides VIP package solutions to tours, festivals and special events. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing, VIP Nation (International Touring), you will be responsible for ticketing aspects of the VIP package build across arena and stadium tours in the regions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the VIP product set‑up.
  • Manage end‑to‑end event ticketing for a variety of tours, including liaising with promoters and ticket agents, manifesting shows, managing allocations, maximising ticket sales and reconciling events.
  • Prepare and confirm all necessary tour details for on‑sale, including routing and dates, schedules, ticket limits, age restrictions, pricing and fee structures.
  • Request ticket holds and liaise with local promoter teams to approve locations in all cities for all VIP packages.
  • Complete set‑up forms, oversee ticket pricing charts for tours and check on correctness of all points of sale.
  • Collate sales data from Ticketmaster UK, other UK and European / worldwide ticket vendors.
  • Administer events in EOS (our in‑house event operating system), manage inventory and allocations.
  • Distribute sales reports on agreed schedule to VIP Nation, LN Ticketing, Promoters, Agents and Artist Management.
  • Ensure VIP online visibility to consumers across all ticket platforms.
  • Ensure VIP packages are available to purchase for all pre‑sales and public on‑sales, across multiple on‑sale schedules, cities and time‑zones.
  • Obtain official tour visual assets, adapt and edit to fit our web and social media needs, gaining approval with local marketing/artist management/agent teams.
  • Creating VIP Nation tour webpages, making sure any presale and on sale links are added, as well as to all relevant Live Nation & Artist websites and presale webpages.
  • Pro‑actively seek opportunities to maximise sales by moving inventory around products to maximise best sellers.
  • Instruct ticket vendors to close sales, notify promotional sites to mark events as sold out, obtain and report final sales and package revenue audits to relevant parties, and order customer lists for the Event Manager and on‑site team.
  • Attend events and manage specific ticketing duties, where relevant, including assisting the Event Manager.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Excellent numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in using Excel at intermediate or above level.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to multi‑task, prioritise and manage tasks.
  • Previous experience reporting on and analysing data, ideally in a ticketing environment.
  • Experience managing content, optimising the customer journey and improving customer experience.
  • Experience in online ticket sales.
  • Experience managing ticket inventory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders from multiple countries.
  • Proactive and demonstrates initiative, drive and commitment to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to work accurately and effectively and to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of personal responsibility and initiative.
  • Combines analytical thought with creativity to excel at problem‑solving.
  • Commercially minded – able to identify and exploit opportunities.
