Live Nation is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant - Festivals to support reporting, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and SOX control evidence for the Festivals business. Reporting into Patricia, this role will help create a more robust reporting and controls function, enabling the commercial finance team to focus on insight while ensuring reported results are complete, accurate and properly supported.
The Festivals finance team supports a complex, fast-moving portfolio of events, statutory companies and operational stakeholders. The team works across commercial finance, reporting, controls and finance operations, with a clear focus on helping the business understand performance, manage risk and make better decisions. This is a hands-on environment where finance needs to be close to production, ticketing, operations and leadership. The team is expected to be collaborative, calm under pressure and practical in how it supports events from initial budget through to final reconciliation and settlement.

Who you are
- Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant financial reporting or management accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Experience preparing or reviewing reporting packs and supporting schedules.
- Good control awareness, with SOX, audit or internal control experience desirable.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and large data sets.
- Ability to identify reconciliation issues, aged balances and incomplete evidence.
- Organised and deadline-driven with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in multi-entity, event, entertainment or project-based environments desirable.

What the role includes
- Support the monthly close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, actuals reporting and close checklists.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reporting packs and supporting schedules for review by Reporting Manager.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and track reconciling items, aged balances and required actions.
- Support SOX evidence collection, filing and control compliance across reporting and balance sheet processes.
- Work with Commercial Finance team to ensure event accruals, prepayments and P&L movements are supported and understood.
- Prepare cashless reconciliations following each event and monitor actions to ensure partner settlements are paid and revenue invoices are raised correctly and timely.
- Assist with statutory company reporting, intercompany reconciliations and legal entity reporting requirements.
- Support audit, internal control and group finance requests with timely and accurate schedules.
- Maintain clear documentation, working papers and audit trails for month-end and balance sheet processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting templates, reconciliation quality and close efficiency.
