The Comedy department seeks a highly motivated and hard‑working individual to programme and run administrative operations across its growing portfolio. This includes programming the Live Nation owned Comedy Clubs, with the first new club scheduled to open in early 2027, as well as other booking projects across the department not limited to but including the on the road network, Festivals and its Comedy Podcast. This is a dynamic role within an exceptionally busy and fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of bookings and related logistics, while adapting to the ongoing growth and development of this expanding area of the business.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities, with a keen interest in live comedy and entertainment.

What The Role Includes
- Secure the booking of artists on behalf of Live Nation.
- Develop relations with artists, their managers and their agents.
- Work within agreed framework and controls when budgeting and producing artists’ offers, ensuring transparency.
- Take calls after office hours and respond to cancellations immediately.
- Negotiate deals/offers with a thorough understanding of deal structures and financials.
- Oversee venue social media output.
- Carry out continuous research of developing artists.
- Develop artist database and keep track of all necessary diaries, contracts and invoicing.
- Regularly monitor the potential of artists.
- Ensure all relevant parties (artist / agent / venue staff) have all necessary information to ensure smooth running of all bookings.
- Ensure accurate, regular and prompt reporting, presented to key personnel as and when required.
- Provide information to enable the review of systems for suitability and potential upgrading.
- Lead this new area of the department with a high level of attention to detail.
- Attend and contribute to internal collaborations with the wider team.
- Manage workload effectively and support team growth within the department.
- Ensure deadlines and targets are met in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain internal documents, templates and spreadsheets and implement systems to ensure fluidity.
- Provide general support to the Comedy team where required.
- Travel will be required to our Comedy Store on the Road venues, attending Edinburgh Festival Fringe, industry showcase nights, scouting for talent at The Comedy Store London and spending time at each of the clubs as they open.
