As a Comedy Agent’s Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting agents in the day-to-day management of their roster. This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role at the heart of a busy comedy agency, requiring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a genuine passion for live comedy.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting agents with the day-to-day management of their comedy roster
  • Handling contracts, deal memos, and invoicing, including chasing payments
  • Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, and coordinating availability
  • Acting as a key point of contact between agents, artists and venues
  • Booking travel, accommodation, and logistics for artists and agents
  • Preparing client updates, tour schedules, and advancing documents
  • Assisting with incoming offers, holds, and availability checks
  • Proactively identifying and helping to secure new opportunities for clients across live, radio, and television, including researching potential bookings, monitoring industry trends, and flagging relevant leads to agents
  • Coordinating marketing materials and supporting social media activity
  • Managing internal communications with departments such as marketing, ticketing, and accounts
  • Handling general office administration and supporting virtual meetings
  • Attending shows and events when required, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong interest in the comedy industry and talent representation
  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role in the industry (agency experience is a plus)
  • Confident diary management across multiple clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and database systems
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong numeracy and attention to financial detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
