This role is offered as an initial 6‑month fixed‑term contractor. The Business Analyst will support the successful delivery of two strategic IT transformation projects: Tanium Removal Programme and Persona Automated Identity Verification.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business/Technical Analyst to shape and deliver two of our most critical global IT transformation programmes: the Tanium Removal Programme and Persona Automated Identity Verification. In this role you’ll be at the heart of our technology change agenda—helping us modernise endpoint management and revolutionise how we verify identity for employees worldwide. As a trusted partner across IT and the business, you’ll bring clarity, structure, and insight to these complex transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define Success: Lead workshops and conversations to uncover business needs and translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements, including data mappings, system behaviour, API interactions, and workflow logic.
- Document Requirements: Produce clear, actionable requirements aligned to strategic goals.
- Orchestrate Global Change: Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to assess system impacts, review solution designs, and support region‑specific deployment considerations.
- Plan Global Rollout: Support planning and deployment of new tools, ensuring readiness across regions.
- Support Decommissioning & Validation: Assist in technical validation—including uninstall method testing, endpoint behaviour analysis, compatibility checks, and performance verification across environments.
- Manage Risks & Dependencies: Evaluate technical dependencies between platforms (Intune, Azure Arc, Autopatch, Patch My PC, Okta, Zendesk, Persona) and address risks related to integrations, data flows, and automation logic.
- Champion Compliance & Change: Ensure solutions meet privacy and security requirements—considering data flows, retention rules, auditability, and platform configuration implications.
- Support Change Management: Create training and communications that drive user adoption and smooth transitions.
- Test & Continuous Improvement: Design test scripts that validate integrations, API calls, system configurations, error handling, and exception paths; track progress and measure outcomes.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Lead workshops with stakeholders (IT, HR, Legal, Change, Cybersecurity, regional teams). Document and validate business, functional, and technical requirements. Map current and future state processes and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate communication between project teams, executive sponsors, and impacted business units. Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and change managers to ensure requirements understanding and delivery.
- Solution Design Support: Translate business requirements into clear specifications for technical teams. Support architects in designing workflows, integrations, and automation (Intune, Patch My PC, Persona‑Okta‑Zendesk). Validate that proposed solutions meet business objectives and compliance needs.
- Change Management & Training: Collaborate with change adoption managers to develop training materials and communications. Support user experience discovery, impact assessments, and feedback collection. Design and document fallback and contingency plans for outages or process failures.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute UAT scripts for new workflows and systems. Coordinate pilot testing, performance validation, and rollback procedures. Ensure all business scenarios, including edge cases and exceptions, are covered.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Identify, document, and track project risks, dependencies, and assumptions. Support mitigation planning for high‑impact risks. Monitor critical path items and raise blockers as necessary.
- Reporting & Governance: Prepare project documentation, status reports, and governance materials for stage gates and executive reviews. Maintain traceability of requirements from delivery to sign‑off.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in large‑scale IT transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of endpoint management, identity verification, and ITSM processes.

- Familiarity with tools such as Intune, Patch My PC, Okta, Zendesk, and Persona (preferred).

- Exposure to compliance, privacy, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, regional laws) beneficial but not essential.

- IT Transformation Experience: Hands‑on experience with large‑scale IT change, especially in endpoint management, patching, inventory, and identity/access management.
- Solution Design Support: Comfortable working with architects and engineers to turn requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
- Systems Analysis & Integration: Analyse system integrations, data flows, API behaviours and platform configurations across tools such as Intune, Azure Arc, Patch My PC, Okta, Zendesk, and Persona.
- Technical Documentation: Experience producing solution specifications, integration mappings, sequence flows, and technical acceptance criteria.
- Understanding of Enterprise Architecture: Working knowledge of endpoint architecture, identity access management structures, patching tools, and supporting infrastructure.
- Testing & Validation: Experience designing and executing UAT, pilot testing, and validation of new systems and processes.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Proficient at identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks and dependencies across complex programmes.
- Compliance & Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of privacy, legal, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, DPA, TPRM) and their impact on IT solutions.
- Change Management: Experience supporting user adoption, training, and communications for new technology and processes.
- Tool Familiarity: Exposure to or willingness to learn tools such as Intune, Patch My PC, Azure Arc, Okta, Zendesk, and Persona.
