Manchester based (3-4 days a week in the office, up to 5 during busy periods). Up to £80k, experience dependent.

We're working with a growing independent hospitality group with a portfolio of distinct venues across Manchester and Leeds. Every concept has its own identity and a loyal following, with the focus always on experience over transaction. It's made them one of the North's standout independent operators.

They're looking for a senior marketing leader to take the reins of the whole marketing function. It's a hands-on, SLT-level role reporting into the board. You’ll build and grow the team (currently five), drive footfall across core sessions, and shape and deliver the events calendar as the group expands.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the marketing function across the portfolio, owning strategy, structure and day-to-day delivery.
  • Building, leading and growing the marketing team as things scale.
  • Driving footfall for core high-volume sessions and building out the events programme, with a clear line to commercial results.
  • Leading marketing on new venue openings, from concept through to launch.
  • Directing external suppliers and agencies across PR and media.
  • Working closely with the board on strategy, performance and budget.

What we’re looking for:

  • A senior marketing leader at Marketing Director, Head of Marketing or CMO level.
  • A track record of building, leading and scaling large teams.
  • Someone who owns the whole function, with a clear link from marketing activity to commercial results (revenue, footfall).
  • Experience in a multi-site or multi-brand environment.

Nice to have:

  • A background in hospitality, bars, nightlife or leisure.
  • Brand-led experience across genuinely differentiated concepts.
