Are you the candidate we are looking for? At Shaftesbury Gateshead, NE10 we are recruiting for Complex Enabling Support Workers. We’re on the lookout for passionate people who bring skills and experience to the table and who want to make a difference in a caring community. Responsibilities
- Follow the individual’s lead and personalised support plan to provide care and encouragement.
- Keep accurate records (training will be provided).
- Provide personal care or medication assistance as needed.
- Potentially cover sleep-in shifts with an extra £60 per session.
- Support the individual in maintaining a safe and comfortable home.
- Assist with daily tasks such as shopping and cooking.
- Encourage participation in volunteering and community-based activities.
- Provide compassionate support with personal care and medication as required.
- Drive is essential for this role.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Emotionally resilient and able to maintain clear professional boundaries.
- Passionate about empowering others.
- Experience or willingness to support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and behaviours that challenge.
