About the role
As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
Shaftesbury West provides person-centred care and support, enabling adults with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, including dementia, to live as independently as possible. We offer three independent living services, ranging from daytime to 24-hour, sleep-in care and support. Shaftesbury West is an Independent Living service run by Shaftesbury, the disability charity that connects people with their communities.
Shaftesbury Independent Living specialises in providing flexible, client-driven approach to care, health and inclusion requirements for people with a wide range of needs and living situations. Whether support is needed for an hour or two, or up to 24 hours a day, we help people to get the most out of life and their local community.
