We’ve big ambitions this year and, to help us achieve these, we’re expanding our core team of coaches to support a range of health programmes in the UK.
What you’ll be doing
As a Health Coach you will be supporting people to live healthier lives through our world-class digital platform. You will focus 90% of your time on person-centred coaching, managing your own diverse caseload of participants across our core health programmes. You will deliver tailored 1:1 digital coaching using a unique combination of live video consultations and ongoing asynchronous video and text messaging. Reporting directly to a dedicated Health Coach Supervisor, you will work autonomously to deliver life-changing support, using your expertise to drive sustainable lifestyle changes while strictly following our evidence-based clinical protocols.
- Person-Centred Coaching (90%): provide expert health coaching via live video, telephone, and app messaging, guiding participants through behaviour change, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management.
- Record-Keeping: maintain highly accurate, clear clinical documentation and data tracking through Liva’s coaching portal.
- Quality & Compliance: collect outcome monitoring data, adhere to Information Governance and data protection policies, and actively participate in quality assurance reviews as required.
- Risk Management: identify and appropriately escalate clinical risk incidents, adverse events, or safeguarding concerns within Liva's governance frameworks.
You’ll have
- A degree in a health-related field (e.g., Nutrition, Dietetics, Psychology, Sports Science, Public Health) OR possess a recognised accredited Health Coaching qualification in the UK alongside demonstrable relevant practical experience.
- Hands-on experience utilising behaviour change skills and/or motivational interviewing techniques to support individuals in achieving lifestyle goals.
- Tech skills, you can effortlessly navigate mobile apps, online dashboards, and communication tools like Slack with ease.
- Motivational skills with exceptional active listening, empathy, and communication skills.
- Independence, you can manage a high-volume caseload with precision, and multitask effectively.
Bonus points for: fluency in additional languages (especially British Sign Language, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Gujarati, Somali, Tamil, Nepalese, Farsi, Bengali, or Romanian), experience with weight management, and a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity.
