Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in North Notts. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring. Responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. The role will also involve creating and maintaining financial policies and controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Finance Manager will collaborate closely with leadership and operational teams to provide financial insights, support pricing and investment decisions, and contribute to long-term financial planning for the retreat portfolio.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core finance and accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data, performing variance analysis, and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, and the ability to improve financial processes and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and internal controls relevant to hospitality or property-based businesses.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with operations, leadership, and external partners in a clear and accessible manner.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
