About LIV Golf: Now in its fourth season, the LIV Golf League features 13 teams competing for both an Individual and Team title at premier golf courses across the world. The Team Business Operations (Team BO) department supports the business operations and success of all LIV Golf teams. The group ensures operational consistency, drives commercial growth, and supports teams with marketing, sales, and business planning resources to strengthen performance across the league.
Role Overview: The Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting the operational and business needs of all 13 LIV Golf teams. Reporting to the SVP, Team Business Operations, this position serves as the primary link between the league office and individual teams, ensuring clear communication, process consistency, and executional excellence across the league.
You will manage team dashboards and projects, coordinate event-week logistics, and collaborate across departments to enhance team and player operations. This position serves as a key liaison between teams and league departments, supporting operational efficiency, commercial execution, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and relationship-building skills, with a passion for delivering service excellence and supporting the business growth of each team.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned teams, ensuring smooth coordination of operational and administrative needs.
- Manage the Teams Dashboard, tracking project milestones, compliance deadlines, and deliverables across all 13 teams.
- Support SVP, Team BO with ongoing team operations, process improvement, and project implementation.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and execution for event weeks and team activations, including travel coordination, team communications, and operational readiness.
- Support in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for consistent execution across teams.
- Partner with internal departments (Marketing, Partnerships, Player Relations, Events, Finance, Legal, P&C) to ensure seamless team support.
- Prepare internal decks, reports, and communication summaries for the SVP, Team BO, and league leadership.
- Assist in planning and coordination of Team Business Summits, workshops, and all-team meetings.
- Manage internal scheduling, reporting, and follow-ups for Team BO initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the SVP, including calendar management, correspondence, and project tracking.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for team operations, compliance, and event logistics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field.
- 5-7 years' experience in sports operations, account management, or player relations.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask across multiple teams and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident working across departments and senior leadership.
- Experience coordinating logistics or communications in a professional sports or event-driven environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Airtable, Asana, or similar project management tools.
A proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for sports operations. You bring structure, accountability, and follow-through to every project, ensuring each team and player receive consistent, high-quality support across the LIV Golf League.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Regular travel will be required to support on-site event operations, team activations, and other team-related activities across various locations globally.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
