We are Scotland’s largest chauffeur drive operator, with over forty luxury cars on our fleet, and bases in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. From our Headquarters in Glasgow, our experienced reservations team also organise chauffeur-driven cars for our clients across the UK and Worldwide – a truly global operation. The Role
Little’s is a diverse and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The Business Development Executive will play a key role in expanding our client base, promoting Scotland as a premier destination for luxury chauffeur-driven services and working with our corporate, hotel and entertainment sectors. This role will focus on nurturing our existing relationships while helping to grow the business by actively seeking new opportunities. This position is office-based (Govan, Glasgow) and will require some travel throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and developing opportunities with corporate, TMC, entertainment, and hotel clients.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in key cities like Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, while also cross-selling our UK-wide and international services.
- Represent Little’s at industry-specific events, exhibitions, and conferences to build our brand presence.
- Work closely with Head of Sales & Marketing to develop strategies for relevant markets.
- Attend networking events.
- Making appointments with existing and new clients including presentations and client visits.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities using our sales system.
- Respond promptly to incoming sales enquiries and follow up to convert leads into business.
- Creating and preparing proposals for new clients.
- Managing all sales-related activities including organising events and familiarisation trips.
- Liaising with reservations and accounts departments regarding new contracts, rates, and special terms.
- Support the PR strategy for key projects/ developments.
- Managing key relationships with industry partners.
The Person
We are seeking a driven and ambitious sales professional, ideally with experience in tourism or hospitality sales. You may be a business development coordinator looking to elevate your career in an exciting new environment. The Hours
40 hours per week. Your core working hours will be Monday – Friday with the expectation that you will be flexible with your time depending on the needs of the business and client meetings/ events.
