We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team in Moira. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for young children. We have both part-time and full-time positions available.
Part-time hours: 11:30am – 2:30pm, 3–5 days per week. Full-time hours (36 hours per week): 8:00am – 6:00pm or 7:30am – 5:30pm, worked across agreed days during the week.
Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Child Care and Education, or be willing to work towards this qualification while employed. Essential Skills in English, Maths and ICT (or equivalent) are required, and proof must be provided. In line with minimum standards, applicants must be 18 years of age or over. If you are working a minimum of 21 hours per week within a childcare setting, you may be eligible to complete your qualification through the Apprenticeship NI programme. Previous day nursery experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will be caring, patient, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development during their early years.
