Little Rays Lisburn has an amazing opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is not suitable for students as it is a permanent role, year round.

Job Types: Part time lunch cover - 11.30am-2.30pm Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is desirable.
  • Must have NVQ2 or 3 in Child Care and Education or the willingness to complete the qualification whilst employed.
  • Essential skills in English, Maths and ICT or equivalent (proof required).
  • Applicants must be over 18 to apply.

The successful applicant must be enthusiastic and love working with children. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues are essential. Other requirements include:

  • Ability to multitask.
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake further training as required.

As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery team in providing a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged 2 months - 12 years old. This post is to cover lunches from 11.30am to 2.30pm each day.
