We are delighted to invite applications for a Nursery Assistant to join our warm and welcoming team in Lisburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about early years education and dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
We have both full-time and part-time positions available, with working hours to be discussed at interview to support both the needs of the nursery and the successful candidate.
Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Child Care and Education, or be willing to work towards this qualification while employed. If working a minimum of 21 hours per week within a childcare setting, you may be eligible to complete your qualification through the Apprenticeship NI programme.
Essential Skills in English, Maths and ICT (or equivalent) are required, and proof must be provided. In line with minimum standards, applicants must be 18 years of age or over. Previous day nursery experience is desirable.
We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable and motivated, who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in supporting children’s learning and development during their early years.
