Little Rays Ballymena is seeking a caring and reliable Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This is a varied role combining lunchtime cover within the nursery and school run driving duties, supporting both the care and safe transport of children.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the nursery team in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Safely transport children to and from local primary schools
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and roadworthy vehicle
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and children
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare & Education, or willingness to work towards this
- Previous experience in a childcare setting preferred
- Clean, valid UK driving licence with at least 2 years’ driving experience
- Essential Skills in English, Maths, and ICT (or equivalent), with proof required
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over
- willingness to complete safeguarding training and required checks
