Overview

We are seeking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to join the LCS team as a Student Support Officer. The successful candidate will be flexible, well organised and professional, with good communication skills and is able to use their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. The position will provide support for the Medical Officer and be based in the Student Services Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Medical Officer and work within the Student Services Office.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, strong organisational skills and professionalism; use own initiative and contribute as part of a team.

Qualifications and safeguarding

  • A First Aid Certificate is an essential qualification for this role. Candidates do not have to hold this prior to applying as full training will be given.
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure with a children\’s barred list check, two satisfactory references and successful completion of vetting procedures are required.
  • In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), an online search will be conducted as part of due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
