We're seeking a passionate part-time Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in Acton (W3 8GJ). The role offers a salary of Β£25,500 to Β£27,000 (Pro Rata) and is based 2 minutes from South Acton Station.
Key details:
- Part-time (2β3 full days, 20β30 hrs per week), Monday to Friday, year-round shifts (7:30β6:30 pm).
- Early and late shifts available.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and activities for children in a safe, stimulating environment.
- Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in line with nursery policy.
- Observe and record each child's progress, supporting their development and learning journey.
- Ensure children are never left unsupervised.
- Participate in the key person system and maintain up-to-date learning profiles for your key children.
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and assist with parent meetings and open days.
- Support the safety, security, and cleanliness of the nursery environment.
Person Specification
- Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and nursery experience.
- Key person experience.
- First Aid qualified.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS and references.
