WE ARE CALLING OUT FOR ACTIVITY COACHES! Jets has taken off and we are looking for more skilled experienced activity coaches to come onboard our journey!

THE ROLE

Applicants should be able to display skills, experience and qualifications within activities such as sports, drama, science and arts and creative activities or a combination of these themes. Specific roles may be available for applicants with experience and qualifications in Play work linked to our activity programmes which you get to create to enable you to deliver your own session to children between the ages of 5-12 years!

WHO ARE WE?

Jets activity club is a ‘not for profit’ community interest company (CIC) supporting local primary aged children with fun and engaging activities after the school day finishes from 3.30pm-5.30pm.

What we look for in our coach team:

  • Someone to be willing to have fun contributing to our mission of getting children active and engaged.
  • High-energy, confident and fun individuals who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Be able to be silly and have some fun!
  • At least 6 months' consecutive experience working with children 5 - 12 years old and experience coaching a sport, leading games or delivering activities.
  • A willingness to liaise with parents, delivering high-quality customer service.
  • A real team player who’s happy to rotate duties and form positive relationships.

Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 2.45pm - 5.45pm during term time
  • Friday - 12pm-5pm (Optional)
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm during school holidays (optional)
  • Overtime (offered and optional)

Successful candidates will be expected to join the PVG scheme and supply references.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 6-14 hours per week

Salary: From £10.50-£12.00 per hour
