Work location: Various client sites throughout the Middle/South UK. Suitable base locations may be (but not limited to): Birmingham, Watford, Luton, Cambridge, North London.

Salary: £40,000 plus overtime & expenses. Ability to obtain Security Clearance (Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years).

About the Role:

Littlefish is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our growing team. As a Field Engineer, you'll be the trusted expert, delivering exceptional onsite and remote technical support to our valued contract customers across the middle and south UK. Your daily responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile, and print issues, building and installing devices, and conducting basic network/server troubleshooting and administration. This field-based role promises a diverse array of challenges and opportunities to demonstrate your expertise and make a real impact.

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in IT operational support across a range of modern technologies, including desktop/laptop/printer hardware, Office 365, MS Exchange, Windows 11/10, Azure Active Directory, Intune, Apple OSX and iOS, and deployment technologies like Autopilot and Jamf.
  • Hands-On Experience: Proven track record in handling walk-ups and efficiently fixing hardware issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to tackle technical issues efficiently.
  • Driving Licence: A full, clean UK driving licence & access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • Experience: Direct experience in a similar technical role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel and stay overnight at various sites across the Middle/south UK.
