The role and what you’ll be getting up to on a day to day basis:

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Network Engineer who’s not only technically strong but thrives on mentoring others, solving complex challenges, and shaping the future of our infrastructure. This isn’t your average engineering role. You’ll be the go‑to expert, the calm in the storm during major incidents, and the voice of clarity when things get complex. You’ll be embedded onsite with one of our prestigious clients in Brentford, working right at the heart of their environment, influencing outcomes in real time and building trusted relationships face‑to‑face.
You will be:
- Leading a small but mighty team of network engineers.
- Owning complex technical issues and high-priority customer tickets.
- Acting as a senior escalation point and subject matter expert.
- Driving best practices, automation, and future tech adoption.
- Supporting major incident resolution and mentoring engineers.
- Approving high-risk changes and reviewing incident reports.
- Shaping our network roadmap and onboarding new customers.
About you:
- Proven experience in network engineering (MSP experience a plus).
- Deep knowledge of routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar.
- Strong grasp of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
- Skilled with tools like SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, etc.
- Excellent communicator and documentation wizard.
You may also have:
- Experience with cloud networking (especially Azure).
- Familiarity with SDN, SASE, and zero trust architectures.
