We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Manager to join our Little Wing Sliced Management team. Last year we opened up Little Wing Sliced, a new off-shoot of the Little Wing Pizzeria brand. In our humble opinion it is the coolest looking slice shop in Belfast and we serve our massive 24” NY style pizza pies whole or by the slice. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Manager to join the company and help us with our civic duty by providing glorious pizza to the public!
This role has a primary focus within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. We are looking for a candidate with strong kitchen management experience, excellent organisation, and clear communication skills to lead, motivate, and develop our kitchen team to consistently deliver the highest quality pizza. This role will involve taking ownership of all kitchen operations, ensuring the kitchen is run in line with company guidelines and delivering a well-organised and efficient service. You will manage stock, control costs, oversee food preparation, and drive excellence in kitchen performance. You will also liaise with senior management, support wider business initiatives, and ensure the kitchen contributes effectively to the overall success of the restaurant.
This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work approximately 40 hours per week (over five shifts including weekends). As reward you can expect a competitive salary of £32,000 – £38,000, paid fortnightly. We also provide a performance bonus structure (potential to earn up to an extra £5,700 annually), free pizza on shift, and a company discount with 20% off food in various outlets including Bullitt Hotel, Little Wing Pizzeria, The National and The Cloth Ear.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a kitchen management or senior kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and stock control
- Proven track record of organisational skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate about food quality and delivering the best pizza
- Ability to lead, train, and develop a kitchen team
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
- NVQ Level 3 in Hospitality or Professional Cookery
