About Little Toes Day Nursery

At Little Toes Day Nursery, we believe childhood should be filled with wonder, exploration and meaningful connections. We are a small, home-from-home nursery caring for a maximum of 32 children, with just 9 babies per day in our nurturing baby room. This allows us to build strong relationships with every child and family while providing exceptional, individualised care. As a Hygge Accredited Nursery, we embrace a calm, cosy and child-led approach to learning. Our beautiful setting includes 2 acres of outdoor land, home to our friendly chickens, ducks and nursery dogs, as well as an on-site Forest School, where children can explore, take managed risks and develop a lifelong love of nature.

The Role

As a Baby Room Practitioner, you will create a safe, loving and stimulating environment where our youngest children can thrive. You will work closely with colleagues and families to support each baby's individual development, following their interests and routines while providing outstanding care.

  • Provide high-quality care and education for babies aged 0-2 years.
  • Build warm, secure and responsive relationships with children and their families.
  • Plan engaging, child-led experiences that promote learning and development.
