Little Tanks Ltd is looking for a part‑time Drama Tutor to run an after‑school drama club in Weybridge, Surrey, and the surrounding Berkshire locations (Old Windsor, Ascot, Windsor). The role starts in September following training sessions in June and July.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly drama lessons and activities for children.
- Lead the group toward producing a small‑scale performance at the end of the term.
- Encourage and build confidence and communication skills in participants.
- Set tasks, manage behaviour, and ensure children are having fun.
- Implement safeguarding procedures and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Be professional, respectful, and flexible to meet the needs of pupils, schools, and the company.
- Provide full training to new tutors before the session starts.
- Arrive 15 minutes before each session starts.
- Commit to all sessions for the schools listed above.
Qualifications & Experience
- Teaching or workshop experience in drama (minimum 1 year preferred).
- A level or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Enhanced DBS check dated within the last 3 years (or ability to obtain one).
- Access to resources and materials required for lessons.
- Ability to travel to the schools using own transport or public transport, based within a 45‑minute radius of the sessions.
Contract & Compensation
- Fixed‑term, part‑time contract lasting 3 months.
- Pay is from £30.00 per hour, with a fee of £30.00 per session plus a contribution towards travel expenses.

- Weybridge – Monday, 3:15pm to 4:15pm
- Old Windsor – Tuesday, 3:25pm to 4:25pm
- Ascot – Wednesday, 3:20pm to 4:20pm
- Windsor – Thursday, 3:15pm to 4:15pm
