We are looking for an experienced, motivated and caring Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and support the delivery of high-quality early years education and childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Ensure children receive excellent standards of care, learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Support, motivate and develop the nursery team through supervision, coaching and training.
- Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards across the setting.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and external professionals.
- Manage staff rotas, ratios, occupancy and nursery resources effectively.
- Prepare for inspections and ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently.
- Promote a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification or above.
- Has previous experience in a nursery leadership or management role.
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development and the EYFS.
- Is confident leading a team.
