Little Steps Private Day Nursery comprises of a well-established Good Ofsted rating nursery in Birmingham. We are also currently opening another nursery in Northfield Birmingham. We offer consistently exceptional Childcare and Early Education for children aged between 6 weeks to 5 years, and are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our successful team.
We are looking for a full-time, term-time only, Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Little Steps Nursery. A level 3 qualification or above is essential for this position.
Requirements of Qualified Early Years Practitioner- To have at least 1 year’s childcare experience is preferable
- Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Early Years or childcare/Education
- Good knowledge of child development
- Fun and creative character

- Good teamwork with practitioners and to work in partnership with our parents
- Key practitioner responsible for a small key group of children
- Work with a wider team of practitioners to effectively follow daily routines
- Provide the children with a safe, secure and home from home environment
- Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team
- Support children to grow and learn
- To follow all policies and procedures including a commitment to safeguarding and child protection
- 12 hours Paediatric First Aid for every practitioner
- Continues paid CPD for every practitioner
