About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner who loves working outdoors in all seasons and understands the immense value of nature-based learning. As part of our dedicated team, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children's development through responsive, in-the-moment planning.
- Create engaging opportunities that promote curiosity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Work closely with children in our outdoor learning environment, whatever the weather.
- Help embed Forest School principles and Scandinavian-inspired practices throughout the nursery experience.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
- Experience planning and supporting children's learning and development.
- A genuine passion for outdoor education and child-led learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
- Forest School Level 3 qualification.
- Experience working within a Forest School or outdoor nursery environment.
For candidates who demonstrate a passion for outdoor learning, opportunities may be available to undertake Forest School Level 3 training as part of ongoing professional development.
