This lovely family, based in Manchester, is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their property while taking care of their baby and school-aged child. Someone who speaks Hindi and Punjabi is preferred. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Knowledge of driving would be advantageous. The family is looking for someone comfortable travelling since they would be spending vacations out of the country. A mother, expecting a second newborn in July, is looking for a full-time nanny-housekeeper. Primary care will be for the mum, including cooking, caring, and acting as an extension of the family (mother's help) while also running errands where needed. Care for their 2 small dogs, including walking and feeding them, is required. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Full Time - flexible days and hours

Accommodation: A double room is available in the property, with an en-suite and access to the back garden (this will change when the family moves homes, TBC).

Duties include:

  • Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants.
  • Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.
  • Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
  • Providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational growth.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
  • Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
